White conveyor belts are now divided into three types:
PVC white conveyor belts, ordinary chemical white rubber conveyor belts, and food-grade rubber conveyor belts.

Relatively speaking, PVC is relatively rare, and chemical and food-grade rubber are more common. According to different use environments, they are divided into various specifications and models such as high temperature resistance, heat resistance, cold resistance, oil resistance, acid and alkali resistance, flame retardant, and anti-static.

1. PVC conveyor belt can be processed with skirt, baffle, punching, etc. according to the products transported by customers.

2. The product formula of PVC conveyor belt is reasonably designed, meets the hygiene indicators, has moderate color, is light and durable.

3. It is suitable for transporting bulk, canned, and packaged grain or food in the food industry.

4. The patterned PVC conveyor belt can prevent the material from sliding, complete the climbing at an angle of 0~45, and improve the conveying capacity.

5. PVC conveyor belt is not easy to deform, and it is light in weight, stretch-resistant, and has a long life.


In the transportation of food, PVC conveyor belts and PU conveyor belts are commonly used. Although they are both industrial conveyor belts, they are different. PVC conveyor belts use polyvinyl chloride as raw materials, while PU conveyor belts use polyurethane as raw materials.

For direct contact food, we still recommend the use of PU conveyor belts!
If the industry involves the transportation of food, such as candy, pasta, meat, seafood, baked goods, etc., PU conveyor belts are preferred.

Reasons:

1: PU conveyor belt uses PU (polyurethane) as the rubber surface, which is transparent and clean, non-toxic and tasteless, and can be in direct contact with food.

2: PU conveyor belt is oil-resistant, washable and cut-resistant, and the belt is thin, tough and stretch-resistant.

3: Meets FDA food grade certification

PU (polyurethane) is a material that can be dissolved in nature and is called green raw material. PVC contains substances that are harmful to the human body. Therefore, if it involves the food industry, from the perspective of food safety, it is best to choose a conveyor belt made of PU material.

4: From the perspective of durability, PU conveyor belt is cut-resistant. After reaching a certain thickness, it can be used on a cutting machine and can be cut repeatedly.

PVC conveyor belt is mainly used for food packaging and non-food transportation. The price is lower than that of PU conveyor belt, and the service life is generally shorter than that of PU conveyor belt.
